Operational Readiness
Structured 4-Day King Air Initial Qualification Course
Our King Air initial training program is a structured 4-day in-person course designed for pilots entering King Air operations or completing insurance-required initial qualification training.

The program focuses on developing procedural proficiency, systems understanding, and operational decision making required for safe King Air operations. Training is conducted primarily in a simulator environment and led by active King Air line pilots with current operational experience.

We provide training across the full King Air family, including King Air 90, 200, and 300 series aircraft.

TRAINING STRUCTURE
Simulator Training
Training is conducted primarily in a simulator environment, allowing for efficient, scenario-based repetition of procedures, systems, and abnormal operations.
Optional In-Aircraft Training Add-On
In-aircraft training is available as an optional add-on for pilots who want additional real-world aircraft exposure in our Blackhawk-upgraded C90 or their own aircraft. This training focuses on applying procedures, cockpit flows, and decision making in the actual flight environment.
Active Pilots
Learn From Active King Air Pilots
All training is conducted by active King Air line pilots who bring current operational experience into every session. This ensures training reflects real-world flying practices and operational decision making used in daily King Air operations.

Training Location
Built for Focused Flight Training
Training is conducted in person at Gillespie Field in San Diego, California, in a dedicated aviation training environment designed for both simulator and aircraft-based instruction.
Pilots who elect to fly in for their training will have a reserved parking space on the ramp.
