Operational Readiness
Efficient Recurrent Training for Active King Air Pilots
Our King Air recurrent training program is designed for pilots who are already qualified in the aircraft and need to maintain insurance requirements, operational proficiency, and decision-making readiness in the most efficient way possible.

This is a structured 1-day in-person simulator-based training event, supported by comprehensive online ground school completed prior to arrival. Pilots complete systems review, procedural training materials, and a final exam through our training portal before attending the simulator session.

Any final clarifications or aircraft-specific items are reviewed with the instructor prior to the simulator training session to ensure a focused and efficient training day.

Training is conducted across the full King Air family, including King Air 90, 200, and 300 series aircraft.

Core Skills
What You Will Learn
King Air recurrent training focuses on reinforcing operational proficiency and decision-making in realistic flight environments, including:

-
Normal procedures and cockpit flow refinement
-
Abnormal and emergency scenario review
-
Systems knowledge reinforcement
-
Performance and operational decision making
-
Scenario-based simulator training tailored to real-world operations

The emphasis is on maintaining confidence, consistency, and operational readiness rather than initial aircraft familiarization.
TRAINING STRUCTURE
Online Ground School (Pre-Arrival Requirement)
Prior to attending in-person training, pilots complete structured online ground school through our training portal. This includes:

-
Detailed aircraft systems videos
-
Aircraft manuals and reference materials
-
Review modules covering normal and abnormal procedures
-
Final knowledge assessment exam

This allows in-person training to focus entirely on applied simulator scenarios and instructor-led refinement.
In-Person Simulator Training (1 Day)
The in-person portion of the program is conducted over a single day in our King Air simulator environment. Training is focused, scenario-based, and designed to reinforce real-world operational decision making under normal and abnormal conditions.

All sessions are led by active King Air line pilots with current operational experience.
Active Pilots
Learn From Active King Air Pilots
All training is conducted by active King Air line pilots who bring current operational experience into every session. This ensures training remains relevant to real-world flying conditions and operational decision making.

Training Location
Built for Focused Flight Training
Training is conducted in person at Gillespie Field in San Diego, California, in a dedicated aviation training environment designed for both simulator and aircraft-based instruction.
Pilots who elect to fly in for their training will have a reserved parking space on the ramp.
